DESCRIPTION: ALKEN® PDE 902 is a scientifically balanced blend of polymers and other ingredients designed for treating lubricating oil to allow trouble-free winter operation. ALKEN® PDE 902 is recommended for all lubricating oil applications where pour point reduction is the major objective of treatment. ALKEN® PDE 902 modifies the crystal structure of oil wax, lowering the pour point, improving pumpability, and enhancing low-temperature filterability to permit satisfactory operation at temperatures significantly below the cloud point of the oil. ADVANTAGES:
ALKEN® PDE 902 dosage level is selected based on the performance desired and the response of the base stock. The usual dosage ranges from 1 to 40 to as little as 1 to 334. HANDLING AND STORAGE: ALKEN® PDE 902 contains petroleum
distillates. Avoid skin contact and breathing of vapors while handling.
Store at moderate temperatures away from flame or other sources of ignition.
The concentrated product may gel if stored at temperatures below 10 F. If
gelling occurs it can be corrected by moving the drum into a warmer area
(21 degrees C/70degrees F) until the product reliquifies. For transportation:
This product is labeled as NON-COMBUSTIBLE - flash point of 132 C (269 F). PACKAGING: ALKEN® PDE 902 is available in 5-gallon steel pails or 55-gallon steel drums, conforming to Performance Oriented Packaging Specifications. Minimum order is 5 x 5 gallon pails or 1 x 55 gallon drum.
