To the left is a photograph of a plate
grown 4 days with one of our newest grease degrading strains, Bacillus
pumilus AMH 109. The olive oil and Tween 80 bound to Rhodamine
B dye in the "Rhodamine B Lipase/Esterase Agar" are so thoroughly
eaten away that the dye is visible to the naked eye, without benefit of
a UV light in the dark. Under UV light, this plate looks a lot like the
plate to the left above. AMH 109 has now been added to Alken
Clear-Flo 1003, 1005, 7139, Enz-Odor 2, Enz-Odor 4, Enz-Odor 5, Enz-Odor
10, Enz-Odor 12, Nu-Bind, and Treat-A-Loo 2. |
